Its summer and time to get out an about. This Sunday volunteers and friends of the Greenwich Green Party headed out from Oxleas Woods to the Thames Barrier for an educational and inspiring jaunt around our beautiful Borough.
We’re intending on doing a regular walk around various bits of the borough as a way to get active and as an antidote to boring stuffy meetings (although our business meetings are hardly ever that boring…)
We organise the walks in two halves, a longer bit for the intrepid walkers and a shorter bit for families and those less able to get around. Everyone is welcome!
If you struggle to make joint meetings or are more interested in the environmental side of Green politics then maybe a walk is for you?
Sign up to the mailing list and look out for our next email. If you have any specific wildlife and plant identification skills or if you’re clued up in Greenwich history then this could be your time to shine!
